Prerna - Inspiration.

Our contribution to society.

At BlueConch Technologies, we believe that there is nothing more rewarding and satisfying than giving back to society and making a difference in the lives of people. With being more conscious and connected with our community and our world, we have been working towards upholding and enhancing the society and the environment with our utmost dedication and passion. Our programs focus on three key areas: education, health, and economic empowerment. Our associates are actively involved in socially responsible activities through which we aim to contribute towards society and impact the world positively.

Aid in rebuilding the lives of flood-affected communities:

Massive rains resulted in heavy floods in Assam and Bihar devastating the shelter and livelihood of the community residing there. The people there were without food, shelter, and the very basic essentials of life. In addition to rains and floods, the spread of COVID-19 made it an extremely difficult situation for everyone. BlueConch Technologies joined hands with Goonj – a non-profit organization in contributing and raising funds that were donated to help the people in rebuilding their lives.

Donation drive for COVID and cyclone-affected communities:

Amidst the current pandemic, Maharashtra was also hit by Cyclone Nisarga. Being the positive changemakers of today, our BlueConchers stepped up to help & support the people in need. Celebrating their birthdays a little differently this year, BlueConchers collected the money they’d otherwise use for celebrations and used it to donate solar lamps to families of the Bamburde, Tailbaila village who were severely affected by Cyclone Nisarga. Also, hot/cold water dispensers were donated to patients and health care workers at Sassoon Hospital affected by COVID – 19.

Purchase for a cause with IAB

Indian Association of Blind (IAB) is changing lives of more than 30000+ blind people across India. At BlueConch Technologies, we have been running the campaign ‘Purchase for a Cause’.

This a platform and an opportunity for the visually challenged to hold stalls selling food products made by them to support their livelihood

Love and support for HIV positive children

We turned Santa for the HIV positive children of Mamta Foundation and celebrated Christmas with them. We organized fun games and activities for the kids and spent the day playing, singing, and dancing.

Bringing happiness by being secret Santa’s for these kids, our associates actively engaged themselves in organizing the event.

Empowering the visually impaired

For over 10 years, we have been supporting the education and living for visually impaired girls of Jagriti School. Our associates too personally contribute towards this initiative.

At the beginning of every academic year, we collect donations for Braille books. We also organize various events like summer camp, sports activities, and others for Jagriti School.

Being water heroes

BlueConch Technologies participated in the rainwater harvesting project organized by Paani Foundation. This was a ‘Water Cup Competition’ designed to encourage villages to apply watershed management.

Being Jalmitras, our associates devoted their time and efforts by way of “Shramdaan” in the fight against the drought in Maharashtra.

Clothes donation drive

We organize an annual clothes donation drive under the theme ‘Style Switch’ to support the less fortunate lives.

Our associates bring in their unused clothes in good condition which are further handed over to ‘Goodwill India’, a Pune-based non-profit that then distributes them to underprivileged people.

Gift a school kit

Education transforms the world. Supporting the cause of education, we have been contributing to Seva Sahayog’s ‘Gift a School Kit’ initiative for over 10 years.

Every year, we donate about 200+ school kits that include materials such as school bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, drawing books, colors, and a compass box to various schools in rural and tribal areas Pune district.

Support for cancer patients

We actively work with the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), a 50-year old NGO dedicated to providing cancer patients with help and support facilities like chemotherapy, radiation, rehabilitation, and so on.

Our associates also provide voluntary services to CPAA and are actively engaged in raising funds for them.
